Google Storage for Users
Google are alway been generous with it is storage space for Gmail or Picasa. This is to let the users roughly 7GB and 1GB, respectively for free. Now most of the users are plenty of room to store e-mail and high-resolution photos online and have them backed up or protected by Google's server. What some of the users might don't know is that Google offers additional storage at a price. Now the price have been decrease and the data of storage increased many.Google give the users 20 GB of storage only for $5 per year. This offers is twice as much as before for a quarter of the old price. The offers is enough to storage about 10,000 full resolution pictures that taken with a five mega-pixel camera. If still no enough can register for 16TB option for $4,096 annually. Right now Google normally are keep e-mail and photos for the users.
Google Storage for Developers
Google launched its Google Storage for Developers service in May 2010 with Amazon's popular S3 cloud storage service. Google service offers developers a cheap, scalable way to store data online. Google Storage for Developers offers a RESTful API, backups across multiple data centers and support large files up to hundred of Gigabyes in size.Google Storage for Developers is currently and experimental Google Labs project. For now the service is available by invitation only and limited to US developers. Develops can head over to sign up page to request the invite which will give 100GB data storage and 300GB per month of data-transfer bandwidth.
Google's will run 17cents per GB per month for simple storage, 10cents per GB for uploading data and 15 till 30cents per GB for download. Google also provice a fee for a number of request. $.01 per 1000 PUT, POST or LIST request and $0.01 per 10,000 request using GET or HEAD.
